Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

BC Bigfoot Research

BC Bigfoot Research has left a new comment on your post "No Big Clyde Photo for Bigfoot Ballyhoo":

Over the last few weeks I have witnessed bad behavior by many of my so called colleagues over this website Ballyhoo. No one person should be faced with ugly accusations from people who clearly have their own best interest at heart. Good Bigfoot research demands much time and expense in the hunt for evidence of the elusive creature.

Lately it seems to have become a trash and lie atmosphere that any good investigator would be sickened over. No one person wins when people with their own agenda set out to ruin the reputation of somebody merely because they don't agree with the person they are trashing. It's clear that many who claim to be in the research field have nothing but themselves in mind.

After the stories started about Emery and his group, it seems many sites wanted a big piece of the pie of distrust and delinquent like manners. Over the last 3 years I have talked with Emery by phone and know his intentions are good. For this reason I believe some sites want him out of the way.

I for one am XXXX ashamed of those involved in this mess Linda.  Do not ever feel that we are all like that. Many of us stay behind the curtains so it doesn't happen to us too. They know who they are and they really don't want any new evidence regarding Bigfoot put out without their input. Bad behavior is rampant in the bigfoot community.

I want people to know they don't speak for all of us. I hope and trust Emery will continue to do the work many don't want to do. And I do appreciate the fact that any picture he has of Bigfoot will always be a lighting rod for claims of fraud from a few.

No Big Clyde Photo for Bigfoot Ballyhoo

Linda, Bigfoot research is Bill's first and foremost interest. I have shown Bill all the data on Kulls and we agree that posting the photos on your blog at this time someone will surely copy the photo onto their site. Bill is not going to let this happen with the remaining photos.

I do realize the Ballyhoo site is under a heavy load from the self purported bigfoot experts. Still the most important thing we can do is make sure these photos are not copied and transferred to another site. It is for science to look into the Sasquatch/Bigfoot, not self proclaimed defectives and part time weekend warriors.

As for the claims of you making Bill Emery and Dale up it is ridiculous and simple minded of anyone not to check the facts. Bill and Dale were looking for bigfoot many years before Dale ever seen you articles in the Coquille Valley Sentinel. You may use this email on your blog if you wish. ...

We are very sorry to read this, Marla. But we look forward to seeing the photos when the rest of the world sees them. Thank you for all your help and being the go-between. Again thank you. ... Linda Newton-Perry

Hmmmm ...

Dianne E: I've decided not to accept the comment. (But thank you for it and I understand.)  And, henceforth, I will not return or reply to Steve Kulls' emails. He is twisting information to fit his needs. ... Linda Newton-Perry

Not a perfect world ...

I know we do not live in a perfect world, but you would think one could get, require even, a person to quit defaming one's name and works. Readers, I've not made a thing on this blog up. Please show support by commenting in a positive manner. If you have doubts, read back through the older posts and comments. Find out for yourself how this situation has come about. And, again, if there is a lawyer willing to take on this case free of charge, please let me know. Thanks for your interest and readership. ... Linda Newton-Perry

Still Awaiting Bigfoot Photo

My husband Chris and I are writers, photographers and bigfoot believers. We’ve written four bigfoot children’s books. We are waiting for the proof book on a fifth book which is a collection of short stories for both adults and older children. It is good to say at this point that Chris and I do not adventure into the forest looking to get a glimpse of bigfoot. We have, however, been known to go to and take pictures of areas where bigfoot has been sighted. We believe the readers of our blog, Bigfoot Ballyhoo (www.bigfootballyhoo.blogspot.com) enjoy these photos, since most of them can not easily travel to these areas. We enjoy our beautiful forest and do hike short trails in our state of Oregon. One day, when more time is available and if we are still interested in capturing bigfoot photos we will hike deeper into the Oregon forest. But for now, weekends are our only free time to devote to extra pursuits. I do believe there will always be excitement when new photos of bigfoot are available for viewing. So keep your cameras ready, because you may snap an even better photo than the last best one, circulating in the news, TV, magazines and newspapers, (which we hope will soon be a common occurrence).

We are, of course, still waiting for the ESP Team to allow the readers of Ballyhoo to see the one photo promised of Big Clyde. The wait has been long. The photo was taken Aug. 8, 2010. A friend of the three-man team assures us their work is progressing toward a satisfying conclusion. If you will remember, I was counting down until the photos were to be revealed. I quickly realized it would be several weeks, even months, until the photos and information would be made public, so I quit counting. On the blog, I’m sure I made it apparent how long our wait could be. One thing is for sure, with each passing day we are just that much closer to seeing a good photo of bigfoot and hearing and reading about hair sample and blood sample results.

I’d like to thank Brian Zaikowski, for allowing Bigfoot Ballyhoo to display his beautifully done cartoons. He does plan to create more bigfoot cartoons for the world’s enjoyment. And he wrote this in an email: “I do happen to share an affection for the Bigfoot phenomenon.” Until next week, keep talking bigfoot. ... Linda Newton-Perry
