Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

And Why Not Bigfoot?

Photo: Photoxpress

Our beautiful earth is full of strange appearing beasts, so what is so difficult about believing bigfoot exists?

Some believe bigfoot has descended from the giants mentioned in the Bible.

These giants were called Nephilim.

"The Nephilim proved to be in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of the [true] God continued to have relations with the daughters of men and they bore sons to them, they were the mighty ones who were of old, the men of fame." Gen. 6: 4

Gen. 6:1 shows that these "sons of the [true] God" were angels.

"And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who are from the Nephilim; so that we became in our own eyes like grasshoppers, and the same way we became in their eyes."
Nu. 13:33

So it was when Noah's flood struck, the fathers of these human-angels went back to heaven and the offspring were killed in the flood. So none survived the flood. These Nephilim appeared as human not animal, and so were not taken along in the ark by animals (apes, gorillas) in their genes to survive to our day.

Guest Editor-Blogger asks "Who does a person call if he spots a bigfoot?"

Tom has left a new comment on your post "Newspaper Column for Week of Feb. 15, 2010":

I have a question! Who is a person to call if they spot a bigfoot? Mr. Saxton is gone. Does the angencies have Bill or Coles numbers? Should a person call the police or USFS or what?

Bill Emery has left a new comment on your post ""Talking Bigfoot"":

I would like to take a moment to tell folks about myself. Dale and I have worked together on bigfoot sightings and reports for a good long time. I know there will be a few that don't feel the trust with me that Dale was so good at presenting.

Let me assure all that Dale at 78 was very aware of his mortality and trained me to be the best. I have led many of the investigations over the years. I too believe that kindness and support are a must for a person in this line of work. I will never break trust with anyone that calls me. I was a witness to the bigfoot tracks while on the job as Dale was. I'm 22 years younger than Dale was, but have learned from the very best.

A lot of the LEOs, USFS and others will notify me if someone reports a bigfoot in Coos, Curry, Josephine or Douglas Counties.

I will keep the search on for bigfoot for as long as it takes. Hank will be a full time researcher in 2 months. Also, Cole will be by our sides to keep the dream of  his Dad alive. We will reopen "Sasquatch Central Soon"

What if? You get that perfect photo of bigfoot? Now what do you do? You don't need the money that might come from selling the photo and you sure don't need everyone knowing your private business. So, what does one do with a photo that is sure to prove, once in for all, that bigfoot exists?

Now, what if you could use the money? What is the best thing to do in this case?

Dear Readers, let's hear your opinions.

Newspaper Column for Week of Feb. 15, 2010

Linda Newton-Perry's Newspaper Column

A hit-in-the-stomach week, we’ve experienced on Bigfoot Ballyhoo. On Feb. 11th, Dale Saxton, bigfoot investigator and frequent guest editor-blogger to the site, lost his life to a blood clot while in surgery to remove a cancerous lung. Everyone fell silent in their participation, from shock and disbelief. We are missing him dreadfully, for it was delightful to know that anytime he could post an exciting field account of the animal that his friends and family were quick to say was “in his blood.”

His son, Cole Saxton, and long-time friend, Bill Emery, have both assured us that they will carry on the search for bigfoot, in the man’s memory. While Saxton never saw the animal, he believed it exists and would want us all to “keep talking bigfoot”; and to keep working at removing the stigma and unfair consequences that often result when reporting a sighting, especially when one’s license is suspended for reporting a sighting from a vehicle (to the police). Another wrong that requires righting is that police officers, who must report a sighting while on the job, are often required to take a leave of absence until checked out by a state approved doctor. On the blog, we have an account of an officer that had to lie when he’d seen a bigfoot just to be allowed to return to work. It isn’t right, is it?

Saxton was to appear on an hour-long CNN program to share a couple of sightings and to address these concerns of suspended licenses and forced leaves of our policemen. The earthquake in Haiti took priority and the bigfoot program will be filmed when CNN’s schedule allows. Bill Emery said that he would take Saxton’s place if need be. We look forward to that program, and will let our readers know when it will air.

A change of subject: The bones mentioned in the 1962 Columbus Day Storm in Oregon have been traced to the Smithsonian Institute. A United States Forest Service employee took his/her own time to trace down the bones. The reference number is: File#USFS/33058-45333-294734-AB. I do hope someone with clout can look into this such as Dr. Meldrum or author David Paulides.

A final word on Dale Saxton’s death: Christopher and I have dedicated our blog, Bigfoot Ballyhoo to his memory.

Mary Rondeu has left a new comment on your post "For all the Family THANKS":

I think everybody is shocked at the passing of Dad. Let me try to tell what happened to him. As most of you know he had pneumonia in December. He really never got well from it, as he had a dragged out bad dry cough. Last Wednesday he spit up blood. He went back to the doctor with Mom with him. The doctor told Mom, Dad was told a year ago that he had a tumor in his right lung. Dad told the doctor he would be back to see him a few days later. Dad never went back. The doctor told Mom all the years of breathing diesel smoke and his smoking had caught up with him. He started to hemorrhage Friday so they tried to remove the right lung. A blood clot near the tumor broke lose and went to his heart. I would like to say I've lost my daddy, my best friend, my mentor. Thanks for the nice thoughts.
