Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Distressing News for the Bigfoot Community

Dale Saxton

Bill Emery has left a new comment on your post "Road Trip and Interview: Bigfoot":

Great job Linda.

Well where to start! I received a sad call from Marsha Saxton tonight and was informed Dale has been diagnosed today with stage 3 lung cancer. They need to run some test to see how far it's spread. Dale smoked till 94 and Dr said it doesn't look good.

The family wants to ask all for prayer and privacy. Dale will be out of the bigfoot loop for now. As for what is next, I don't know. If it's operable the type it is he will need chemo for several months.

We will try and keep this blog informed on the progress of Dale. The family has decided that "Sasquatch Central" will go into mothballs for now.  Cole, Hank and I are working full time jobs; we will try to keep up the search for bigfoot on the weekends if possible.

Thank you for letting us here at Bigfoot Ballyhoo know.  Yes, please keep us informed.

Road Trip and Interview: Bigfoot

The arrow points to where a bigfoot, last summer, 2009, was possibly  sighted.

East of Sutherlin, Oregon is beautiful, with log trucks thick on its narrow roads. I've been meaning for some time now to get the straight of where a possible bigfoot sighting took place last summer. So, today, Feb. 10, 2010, I called for an appointment and met with the woman that believed she could have possibly observed a bigfoot scrubbing its back on the trunk of a tree. Through field glasses, she watched the animal when done scratching walk to the right of the arrow, on two feet. When the animal was observed, the area was bare with just a few trees.

And so ends my first self-assignment in the world of bigfoot investigating.
