Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Guest Editor-Bloggers: On Bigfoot Searching in Winter

Lane County Search and Rescue

People should read about these sighting and not go into the woods looking for them if they don't know where their at. As of 3:00 PM today we've had two couples lost and one badly stuck in the area. This is a dangerous practice to go anywhere not prepared for winter conditions. Please people think before you go into the forest areas this winter. Our budgets are stretched now.
It is good we talk about these things but, we ask people to think for their safety.

I would like to echo the search and rescue about the mountains. This time of the year you can be on solid ground and then find yourselves in a heap of a mess.As Linda Perry stated in a earlier article the road can go at any time. She is right on the mark about this! Don't take a chance on your safety. We don't want more tragedies like the Kims and others.

I'm very sorry about publishing the location of the lame bigfoot. I really did not think that the public would try to find the location. It was not my intention to cause problems. I will not give the general location out on any further sightings. Again please except my apology.

The rock crusher crew did see three black animals in a old pit on Panther Creek, but they were mistaken about what they were. The culprits in this sighting were a mother bear and her two cubs. I searched this area last night and this morning and found fresh bear sign on the hill where the crew reported the sighting. I was almost certain from the beginning that they had saw bears but needed to be sure. After 10 am this morning I located the bear family about 1/2 mile from the pit and so we wrapped it up. Yes, people can mistake a bear for bigfoot if the animal is at a good distance from the people. I told them what I found and they kind of agreed they might have been wrong. That's OK with me as we still need people to report seeing something out of the norm!

New Sighting of Three Bigfoot

Guest Editor-Blogger: Bill Emery

We are currently investigating a new report of a sighting from a rock crushing company out of Lookingglass ,Oregon. This sighting happened early on February 3rd, 2010 on the Coos/Douglas County border.

A rock crushing crew reported that two dark blackish Sasquatch type animals were seen by four witnesses near a abandoned rock pit. The witnesses claim the animals were climbing a steep bank on the north side of the pit. They claim to have seen another one on top of the bank area.

The animals were described as large upright, hair covered creatures walking on two legs. Dale is already on site and I will join him if he finds any sign of activity or tracks. The company wants to keep the exact location under wraps for now.
